Great app
Love this app. It’s easy to set up and use. I really feel safer knowing that my real number isn’t being used when I have to enter a phone number online. Plus this app is transparent. They don’t hide anything…

Why choose a Troy virtual phone number?
You're part of the St. Louis metro, whether you say so or not
Troy sits close enough to St. Louis, MO that plenty of daily life (jobs, doctors, deliveries) crosses the river. A 618 number keeps your Illinois roots visible even when you're doing business or dating across state lines.
618 reads as home in Belleville, not just Troy
Belleville carries the same 618 code as Troy. If you're posting a listing, meeting someone new, or reconnecting with contacts in Belleville, a 618 number looks like it belongs there too.
Edwardsville is close enough to matter
Edwardsville, with its own university and commuter crowd, is a short drive from Troy. A local number makes it easier to keep in touch with contacts there without your main line getting mixed into it.
Granite City and Alton calls stay separate from your real line
If you're selling something, meeting up for a date, or job hunting anywhere between Granite City and Alton, a second 618 number lets you hand it out freely and delete it later without touching your personal number.

The 618 area code covers Troy and is carried by many people in Belleville just to the west. Neighboring communities like O'Fallon, Granite City, Edwardsville, and Alton sit in the same corner of Illinois, close enough that a 618 number feels native across that stretch.
Troy runs on Central time, same as the rest of the St. Louis metro area it borders. Because 618 is the only code tied to Troy in this area, calls and texts through a Ghost number here line up with how people already dial into Belleville and the surrounding towns.
Residents in this part of Illinois deal with the same steady mix of robocalls and spam texts most of the country reports these days. Keeping a separate number for online listings, dating apps, or new contacts means that noise never has to touch the line your close contacts actually use.
